Answers on the Online Food Clinic
Problems with food allergy? The help you need may be here. Action Against Allergy teamed up with www.talkallergy.com, NHS Choices and specialists from King’s College London Allergy Academy to offer expert one-to-one advice in a week-long online clinic focused on food allergies, held February 21-27.
Although this clinic is now closed for new questions, all those posted during the week and all the answers from the specialist doctors are up there for you to browse. It’s easy to find, and free. Just go to www.talkallergy.com, click on Forums, then NHS Choices Forums, which will bring up the list of subjects and their dates. Scroll down to the Online Clinic on Food Allergy and click it to bring up a host of questions from people who have problems with eggs, dairy food, wheat and gluten, fish and seafood, nuts and allergy testing. There is expert advice in response from the specialist allergy doctors. Could solve your own particular problem or help you manage your allergic child.
The next online clinic will deal with Hay Fever and Environmental Allergies and will take place from Friday April 27 to Thursday May 3 inclusive. In fact it’s already in place there – you can post your questions there NOW. But to post questions you must first register – it’s entirely free and easy to do. Go to www.talkhealthpartnership.com and click on Membership to enter the details needed. This week-long clinic will deal with both adult problems and children’s problems.
